Overview
We are seeking a driven and highly organized Office Manager assistant to lead and optimize the daily functions of our healthcare facility. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and enhancing patient experience. Duties
- Assist in the overall management of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Report management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and other healthcare accreditation requirements to maintain the highest standards of patient privacy and safety.
- Manage medical records, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and medical administrative documentation with precision and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with clinical staff on practice management initiatives including utilization management, managed care contracts, and acute care protocols.
- Implement human resources policies related to staffing, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to build a motivated team.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for improvement in workflow, patient care quality, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, hospital procedures, medical management practices, and healthcare regulations to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Above all, be able to work independently
Experience
- Experience managing a busy medical or dental office environment preferred
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Accustomed to and capable of learning new skills and excited to solve real world problems.
