Duties
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper disposal of used fluids
- Assist with wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and recommend additional services
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering questions confidently
Experience
- Dealership or automotive repair shop experience preferred, with a solid understanding of automotive service procedures
- Hands-on mechanic experience with vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire service, and alignments
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics equipment and mechanical tools such as hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, engines, and transmissions
- Service technician experience that demonstrates strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tire installations or maintenance tasks
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs
