Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mazak CNC Setup Machinist with 10 years horizontal mill experience to join our night shift manufacturing team. You will work, Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am. In this role, you will setup and operate Mazak CNC (Computer Numerical Control) horizontal machines, to produce precision components that meet quality standards. Your expertise in CNC setup and operating, problem solving, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. Responsibilities
- Setup, operate, and troubleshoot Mazak CNC horizontal mills.
- Make tool offsets and machine adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, engineer drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and tooling to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols involving hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing tools.
- Work efficiently to meet production standard.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
