SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION:
Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
Ensures strict confidentiality of “confidential information,” to include operating policies and procedures, handbooks, data, employee and personnel information, program information, contract proposals, financial information, student information and/or any other information of a confidential nature.
Performs executive secretarial duties to include typing, filing, dictation, receiving and routing visitors, sorting and distributing department mail, etc.
Arranges details of meetings, scheduling sites, participants, agendas, etc.
Maintains correspondence log, documenting incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Acts as liaison between the Center Director and functional area department heads.
Makes travel arrangements as necessary.
Oversees Center reports control activities, ensuring timely receipt by department heads and submission to the Department of Labor and Corporate office.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Drafts routine correspondence for Center Director signature.
Compiles and summarizes standard statistical information.
Prepares, coordinates and distributes the Center Newsletter.
Provides positive role modeling through interaction with students and staff by exhibiting appropriate employability, social and life skills. Holds fellow employees and students accountable for modeling appropriate behavior.
Utilizes formal and informal opportunities to mentor students and staff through center student programs and staff development programs.
Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH. (Workplace Relationships and Ethics; Communications; Personal Growth and Development; Interpersonal Skills; Information Management; Multicultural Awareness; Career and Personal Planning; Independent Living)
Performs other duties as assigned.
