Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to ensure a spotless environment
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers with precision and safety awareness
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation protocols for all surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items for clients
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely while adhering to proper handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways, ensuring a tidy exterior appearance
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit
Experience
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of janitorial and custodial practices
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and floor care products to ensure effective sanitation
- Hands-on experience with various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, mops, and buffers
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client locations
- Ability to perform outdoor work when necessary, demonstrating flexibility in different environments
- Excellent client communication skills to understand needs clearly and deliver personalized service
- Previous experience in commercial or heavy-duty cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific procedures
