Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients enjoy optimal comfort and efficiency in their environments.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, zone boards, ductwork.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, including transitions, panning, and duct covers.
- Start up and commission HVAC systems, fill out a quality completion report to ensure refrigerant pressures, airflow and other functions of system are operating as specified.
- Check voltage, program thermostats, replace breakers, disconnects, and high voltage whips as needed.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair and equipment repair techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.
