We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a 3-month locum engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient dermatology setting. You will work alongside our clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of dermatological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a wide variety of medical skin conditions
- Perform procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and other common dermatologic treatments
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR in a timely manner
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive skin care
- Maintain patient flow and uphold practice quality standards
Requirements
- Current PA-C or NP licensure in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in dermatology
- DEA license and relevant state prescribing authority
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Strong procedural skills in outpatient dermatology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding time
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with cosmetic dermatology (injectables, lasers) is a plus
- Prior locum experience preferred
- Board certification (NCCPA for PAs, ANCC or AANP for NPs)
Pay: From $57.00 per hour
