Visual Arts, Technology Club, Taekwondo, and Academic Enrichment. Instructors inspire Jacksonville’s
talented inner-city youth and young professionals to become their wildest dreams. Daily activities
promote exploration into the world of creative thinking.

treat it as they see it. Reporting to the Program Director and Director of Operations, the candidate will
be a passionate advocate of arts education and leadership training for youth. The JAMS Employee will
implement the mission of “Empowering the creative leaders of tomorrow”, by establishing trust,
cultivating creativity, and leading the development of leadership skills among students and staff daily.
Responsibilities
Establish Trust
- Assist the Program Manager in assessing the needs, interests, and characteristics of the JAMS students to develop targeted programs and initiatives that result in an outcome-driven experience.
- Supervise the student intake and check-out process, ensuring that students arrive and depart safely and on time.
- Regulate the dismissal process of students at the end of the day, ensuring that campers are picked up by authorized individuals.
- Collect and review data to ensure JAMS programs are operating in an efficient and excellent manner.
- Maintain Daily Attendance Records, keeping accurate records of students and staff, and communicating any discrepancies to the Program Manager
- Cultivate a strong relationship with students, staff, and parents.

Cultivate Creativity
- Lead the facilitation of Good Morning JAMS activities.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of daily activities, ensuring that all equipment and materials are ready for use and properly stored at the end of each day.
- Maintain ongoing communication, including frequent photos and updates, with all students, families, and stakeholders via the Procare and JAMS social media sites.
Develop Leadership
- Overseeing the food service operations, including snacks and meals. Managing inventory, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Lead a fun, safety, respect, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and innovation culture.
- Build the “JAMS LIFE WAY” culture in students, and parents/families.
- Assist the Program Director and other staff with miscellaneous projects as requested.
