The PDI IT Application Administrator 2 is a hands-on role responsible for supporting a range of business-critical software applications at Jacksons. This position partners closely with business stakeholders and process owners to ensure applications are effectively configured, maintained, and aligned with organizational needs. The role requires experience working with enterprise-class packaged software, including installation, configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of both internal and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Serve as a key member of the Enterprise Applications team, providing daily support and collaboration across IT and business functions.
- Configure, implement, and support business applications, including testing, deployments, and upgrades.
- Develop a strong understanding of core enterprise applications and their impact on business operations.
- Analyze business systems to identify improvement opportunities and recommend effective solutions.
- Partner with business users and software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve configuration, installation, and implementation issues.
- Demonstrate application functionality and advise business users on system capabilities and best practices.
- Communicate issues, resolutions, and system updates to support teams to enhance service delivery.
- Work with IT teams to manage system configurations, resolve system-level issues, and monitor application performance and availability.
- Train users on new systems, enhancements, and process changes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of application systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Partner with leadership to support the strategy for application design, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve issues, contribute to product roadmaps, and support technology upgrades.
- Respond to urgent system issues and production incidents as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends, application technologies, and PDI systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- 3 years of experience working with enterprise software, including major implementations, system integrations, and upgrades; experience with PDI technology is preferred.
- Working knowledge of fuel systems; experience with wholesale fuel systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure, with a track record of resolving time-sensitive issues.
- Willingness and ability to work outside of standard business hours, including on-call support for system upgrades, outages, and implementations.

Physical Requirements:
This position is primarily sedentary and performed in an office environment. This requires regular use of standard office equipment, including a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions. Occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds may be required.
