- This is a temporary position lasting 3-5 months. Could turn in to a temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Monitor all inventory for assigned locations and determine when deliveries are needed based on inventory, supply, and pricing.
- Monitor best-buy price for every load dispatched and determine logistical feasibility to ensure customer receives best price.
- Interact with drivers daily regarding dispatched loads and alternative lift options.
- Receive, enter, and confirm customer fuel orders via phone, email, and portal.
- Ensure allocations are available for the loads dispatched and scheduled on a driver.
- Forecast assigned locations in TelePoint sites management to 50 hours.
- Call all manual inventory sites that don’t have hourly readings and enter them into the system.
- Must be available for possible on-call shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- A High School Diploma/GED
- Experience in Transportation industry and customer service preferred.
- Knowledge and compliance of all DOT and FMCSA Regulations, particularly in driver hours of service rules preferred.
- Proficient computer skills including experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several priorities while being flexible to shift priority.
- Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in writing and in person.
- An ability to independently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated commitment to customers and team-oriented leadership.
- A pattern of effectively managing unexpected issues or obstacles that may arise.
- An ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
- The ability to adapt to changing situations, tasks, responsibilities, and people to achieve results.
- Must be able to sit for an extended period.
- While performing the duties of this job, occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach.
- Must be able to push/pull/lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
