Pay: Starting at $18.21- $19.21 an Hour

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our team at Aztec Grill. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring timely and accurate food service. Ideal candidates are team players with a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Let's Go!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food according to store recipes.
• Prepare food quickly and in a safe manner.
• Follow all food safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock and prep ingredients for daily use.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and organized.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School/GED preferred.
• Flexible available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food Service, Quick Service, Retail experience a plus.
• Food Handler Permit as required by county, city, or state or be able to obtain one within 30 days.
• A passion for delivering friendly, fast, and high-quality service.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Physical Environment:

• This role is classified as Light Work: regularly lifting 10 lbs., occasionally up to 20 lbs., and up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Requires standing for most of the shift with frequent bending, twisting, and quick movements during busy hours. Work is performed in a warm kitchen environment.
