Qualifications
- One year experience as a horizontal directional drilling locator
- High school diploma
- Class A commercial drivers license
- Must be able to read and understand engineered plans and drawings
- Must be able to demonstrate a good safety record
- Must be able to work in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills
- Must have strong communication skills while under pressure
Description
- Will locate the drill head using a F5 locator and communicate the position to the drilling operator
- Will instruct drilling operator during drilling operations to accomplish successful results
- Will assist in maintaining and cleaning drilling equipment
- Will assist in assembly of back reaming materials
- Will analyze plans of job specifications
- Will work in a crew environment taking direction from others
- Will be required to work extra hours including nights and weekends as workload dictates
- Will travel and have temporary assignments to any location for the duration of the project
- Will work outdoor in a variety of weather extremes
- Must be willing to perform any other duties assigned
- Will be required to complete and pass random DOT required drug tests
