What are the responsibilities and job description for the ZONING INVESTIGATOR position at Jackson Township, OH?
The Jackson Township Board of Trustees is accepting applications for the position of full-time Zoning Investigator in the Zoning Department. This position is responsible for performing zoning duties, including field inspections to verify compliance with the zoning resolution; investigating zoning and nuisance complaints; meeting with property owners to resolve compliance issues; process zoning permits; perform all other duties as assigned by the Zoning Inspector.
- Applicants must be a United States citizen and eighteen (18) years of age;
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent;
- Basic knowledge of local government and Township principles.
- Zoning experience is not required but preferred.
