What are the responsibilities and job description for the FIRE SAFETY INSPECTOR position at Jackson Township, OH?
The Jackson Township Board of Trustees is accepting applications for the position of full-time Fire Safety Inspector in the Fire Department. Hours for this position are forty (40) hours weekly, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work weekdays and be available for callbacks, afterhours, and on weekends. Must have the ability to perform all duties of a Fire Safety Inspector (FSI), as addressed in the NFPA 1031 Standard.
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a United States citizen.
- Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- Must be certified as a Fire Safety Inspector (State of Ohio)
- Must be certified as an EMT-B (State of Ohio) of local government and its general function.
