What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Custodian (2 Positions) position at Jackson Township Board of Education?
- Cleans floors of classrooms, offices, special rooms, corridors, stairs, entrances, lobbies and cafeteria, as assigned
- Sweeps, dry mops, wet mops, vacuums, floors
- Cleans and disinfects the drinking fountains, bathroom floors, bowls, seats, and urinals in restrooms on a daily basis as assigned
- Fills paper and soap dispensers in assigned areas, as needed
- Removes trash as assigned
- Ability to lift 75 pounds at least 20% of the time; bend, lift, squat, crawl, climb stairs and ladders, shovel snow, stand for long periods of time
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Custodial Foreman or Custodial Night Supervisor
- Must have or get black seal license within one year
