What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian - Part Time position at Jackson Township Board of Education?
- Cleans floors of classrooms, offices, special rooms, corridors, stairs, entrances, lobbies and cafeteria, as assigned
- Sweeps, dry mops, wet mops, vacuums, floors
- Cleans and disinfects the drinking fountains, bathroom floors, bowls, seats, and urinals in restrooms on a daily basis as assigned
- Fills paper and soap dispensers in assigned areas, as needed
- Removes trash as assigned
- Ability to lift 75 pounds at least 20% of the time; bend, lift, squat, crawl, climb stairs and ladders, shovel snow, stand for long periods of time
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Custodial Foreman or Custodial Night Supervisor

This part-time position is part of the Teamster bargaining group. This position is not eligible to receive health benefits.
Schedule: 6 hours per day for 4 days per week for a total of 24 hours per week, afternoons and evenings
Pay Range: $19.48/hour per teamsters contract
No experience necessary, we will train
Must have valid NJ Drivers License
