Job Overview
Jackson Total Service is seeking a skilled and professional Service Plumber to join our growing team in Naples, Florida. As a Service Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, inspection, and replacement of residential plumbing systems and fixtures. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, self-motivated, and capable of diagnosing plumbing issues efficiently while maintaining a professional presence in customers’ homes.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, maintain, and replace residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and related components
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues involving water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, water heaters, and household plumbing equipment
- Perform repairs and replacements for faucets, toilets, disposals, water lines, and other residential plumbing components
- Service and replace water heaters as needed
- Perform sewer and drain cleaning and assist in resolving drainage-related issues
- Locate plumbing leaks, identify failed components, and complete effective repairs
- Install customer-supplied dishwashers and other approved plumbing-related appliances
- Evaluate system conditions and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions
- Complete all work in compliance with company standards, safety requirements, manufacturer specifications, and applicable plumbing codes
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including work performed, materials used, and recommendations
- Communicate professionally with customers, clearly explaining findings, repair options, and completed work
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle, work area, and professional appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and repair procedures
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and install a broad range of plumbing components and systems
- Experience performing service work in occupied residential homes
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred
- Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with water heater replacement, drain cleaning, leak detection, and fixture installation
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and standard safety practices
