What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to evaluate and treat medical conditions. This role supports patient care in a hospital setting in Dublin, OH. Night shift coverage will be required, including scheduled weekend night rotations and holiday coverage when applicable. Flexibility to cover other open shifts as needed is required.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred certifications accepted).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience performing general diagnostic ultrasound exams in a hospital environment.
- Willingness to work weekend night rotations and cover holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with general ultrasound modalities including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies.
- Previous hospital-based night shift experience.
- Experience covering flexible shifts and floating to support other department needs.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 18:30–07:00 (night shift).
- Weekend night schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night coverage.
- Holiday coverage required if assignment falls on a holiday.
- Flexibility and willingness to cover other open shifts as needed.
