What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures for ED, inpatient and outpatient populations, and document care in the electronic medical record.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent credential.
- CNMT certification or ARRT-N certification required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred by the client; 2 years listed in base description but client profile requests 3 years.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record required.
- Experience performing a full range of nuclear medicine procedures and ability to start IVs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens imaging equipment.
- Prior experience in hospital settings including emergency department, inpatient and outpatient imaging.
- Previous work in a unit with 1:1 patient ratios preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 15:30.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
- Call requirements: None.
- Float requirements: Candidate may be required to float to other units within the system.
