Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Winter Haven, FL, at a skilled nursing facility. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in an adult and geriatric population. You will document progress, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patient-centered care during the assignment.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Florida state license or ability to obtain required state licensure prior to start.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, instrumental assessment familiarity (e.g., FEES or MBS) preferred.
- Ability to provide clear, timely documentation in electronic medical records.
