Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility | Thomasville, NC

Seeking a traveling Physical Therapist to provide skilled rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility in Thomasville, NC. The clinician will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Professional collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards are required. Candidates must be prepared to adapt to the facility’s protocols and contribute to quality patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Documentation experience with electronic medical records required.
• Ability to perform hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise progression, gait training, and assistive device education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with complex medical populations, post-acute rehab, or wound care preferred.
