Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active DC Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
• Experience with post-acute care documentation and common SNF equipment such as gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and parallel bars preferred.
• Ability to provide safe manual handling and transfer techniques required.
