Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Breckenridge, TX. You will work with residents in a skilled nursing setting to provide direct therapy interventions under the supervision and plan of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include delivering treatments, documenting care and progress, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting rehabilitation goals to restore function and reduce pain.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program or equivalent.
• Active state PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• New graduates welcome. Clinical documentation experience and familiarity with established plans of care preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with restorative nursing programs and mobility/transfer training preferred.
• Experience using electronic medical record systems preferred.
