Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Alpharetta, GA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. New graduates are optional. Start as soon as available for a 13-week assignment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Georgia state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to complete comprehensive patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document care in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate to discipline-specific therapy staff and to participate in student supervision when assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience.
• Experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry processes.
• Professional development activities and continuing education participation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 24–40 hours per week.
• Assignment location: Alpharetta, GA outpatient clinic.
• May be required to follow clinic scheduling needs and participate in student education activities as assigned.

Impacting Patient Care

You will evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized treatment plans focused on returning patients to community activity. Documentation responsibilities include evaluations, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, and letters of medical necessity in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards. You will uphold professional licensure and practice acts, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and promote patient and employee safety through safe patient handling, infection control, materials handling, and hazard reporting.
