Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Sugar Land, TX working in an outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role includes 60 minute evaluations and treatment sessions and supports professional development, safe patient handling, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience conducting comprehensive outpatient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans, including goal writing and documentation.
• Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per clinic and payer requirements.
• Experience with safe patient handling practices and materials handling in an outpatient clinic.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and provide clinical instruction to students when assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous outpatient physical therapy experience delivering 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Experience with performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with clinical competency programs.
• Participation in professional development activities and continuing education relevant to outpatient care.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Clinical focus: Outpatient physical therapy with 60 minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
• May be required to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, student supervision, and participation in quality improvement efforts.
