Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current, unencumbered Georgia physical therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required (AHA or ARC accepted).
- Home health experience required. Experience providing skilled physical therapy in patients’ homes preferred.
- Experience supervising or delegating to PTAs and home health aides preferred.
- Familiarity with home visit documentation and care coordination, including development and updating of plans of care.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance required.
- Proficiency with basic computer functions, electronic charting, email, and online training systems required.
- Two to three years of physical therapy experience preferred.
Assignment Details

- Start Date Range: May–August assignment period.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Perform patient evaluations, provide therapeutic services per physician orders, supervise and evaluate PTAs and home health aides as assigned, evaluate home environments, and participate in care coordination and in-service education.
