You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress according to facility and regulatory standards. Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Ohio state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, instrumental assessment familiarity (e.g., FEES or MBSS) preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads in a facility environment and collaborate with rehabilitation team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records documentation preferred.
- Comfort providing therapy across varied acuity levels and interdisciplinary care plans preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days, 4 x 8 schedule (32 hours per week guaranteed).
- Five days per week coverage required.
