Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Maryland SLP license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
- Experience treating dysphagia and performing bedside swallow evaluations preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
- Work Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (per VMS work days).
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week (per VMS guaranteed hours).
- Contract Length: 14 weeks (VMS contract weeks).
- Meal Break: 30 minutes.
- Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
