Join a hospital-based team in Tavares, FL as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) setting. This role supports continuity of care while a permanent SLP transitions onto the unit. Candidates should be prepared to manage a typical caseload of roughly seven patients per day using WellSky EMR.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
- Active Florida SLP license required prior to start.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) required.
- Experience with WellSky EMR required.
- No new graduates. Must have prior clinical experience; submit resume to be considered for the shift coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing caseloads of approximately seven patients per day in an inpatient or hospital rehab setting.
- Prior travel or contract SLP experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift schedule preference: prefers Saturday–Wednesday but may consider Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday. Cannot accommodate Monday–Friday.
- Must be able to start as soon as possible to cover through a mid-July permanent start.
