Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree).
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada required prior to start of assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required from AHA or ARC prior to start.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in evaluation, plan-of-care development, and implementation for adults and older adults in an acute hospital environment.
- Ability to perform and document comprehensive evaluations and skilled interventions per regulatory and departmental timeframes.
- Experience supervising and delegating to PTA, therapy technicians, and students preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and common clinical documentation systems preferred.
- Ability to safely assist patients with transfers and mobility; capable of occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Willingness to work varied caseloads and adapt to departmental staffing and scheduling needs.
