We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or decline. This role suits clinicians who value hands-on patient care and a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Iowa OT license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to starting the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings is required. Clinical experience with geriatric populations preferred.
- Experience using electronic medical record systems. Client uses Net Health and Clinicent; prior experience with either is preferred.
- Productivity experience or ability to meet productivity expectations. Typical traveler productivity target for this role is approximately 82%β85% (preferred knowledge of productivity tracking processes).
- Current professional liability coverage as required by employer policies.
