What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echo Ultrasound Tech – Cardiac Sonographer position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare adult patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce diagnostic-quality cardiac images for interpretation by healthcare teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- RDCS or RCS credential required. Candidates without these credentials will not be considered.
- NH Board of Medical Imaging licensure required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience performing echocardiography procedures including transthoracic echocardiogram, stress echo, transesophageal echo, contrast echo, and bubble studies preferred.
- Experience with Philips ultrasound systems preferred.
- Experience using Sunrise (Allscripts) EMR preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant echocardiography experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Outpatient.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Days 0700-1730.
- Schedule options: 4 ten-hour shifts (0700-1730) or 5 eight-hour shifts (0800-1630) as typical staffing patterns.
- Patient population: Adult.
- Typical patient volume: Approximately 8–9 echos per day.
- Equipment in use: Philips ultrasound systems and GE Clinical Works.
- EMR: Sunrise (Allscripts).
- Occasional weekend day shifts and occasional on-call coverage (evening to overnight) required.
