Become a vital part of a hospital team in Jersey City, NJ as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for patient diagnostic care. This assignment accepts first-time travelers and involves a high-volume environment with routine CT procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 years CT technologist experience required.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Must obtain New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) license prior to start.
- Experience with routine CT procedures and high daily case volumes (approximately 20 cases per day) preferred.
- Experience charting in EPIC preferred.
- Experience operating Siemens 128-slice CT scanners preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hospital CT experience preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of CT protocols and contrast administration preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 22:00 - 08:00.
- Schedule Pattern: 4x9.5-hour shifts.
- Every other weekend required.
- No on-call required.
- Charting System: EPIC.
- CT Equipment: Two Siemens 128-slice scanners, including a Definition AS model.
