What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computed Tomography Technologist – Full Time position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
We’re seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent outpatient role in Falls Church, VA where you will be responsible for accurately following physician scanning instructions, administering contrast materials according to protocol, and operating CT scan equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certification and licensure. Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT certification required.
- State licensure as applicable to the position. Candidate must hold Virginia and/or applicable regional licensure.
- Education. Associate degree or equivalent and completion of an approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program or JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
- Experience. Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required. Preferably 2–3 years; employer is flexible for qualified candidates.
- CPR for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification required.
- Clinical skills. Demonstrated experience with CT scanning procedures, patient positioning, contrast administration, and working knowledge of electronic medical records.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and x-rays in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Administer contrast agents safely and monitor patients during and after injection.
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures. Provide verbal and written instructions and assist patients for comfort and image quality.
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment. Report equipment malfunctions to the Practice Administrator.
- Clean, stock, and sterilize equipment and prepare patient rooms for care delivery.
- Complete administrative duties related to imaging procedures including documentation, labeling, processing films, and maintaining procedure logs.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in the electronic medical record.
- Provide clinical support as a back-up for team members by controlling patient flow, performing EKGs, obtaining blood pressures, documenting vital signs, and administering injectables when required.
- Support the medical provider during patient examinations, testing, and education.
