Job Overview
This position supports daily warehouse and fabrication operations by assisting with the movement, handling, and storage of stone slabs and other production materials. This role helps maintain a safe and efficient work environment while supporting machine operators, stone fabricators, and warehouse personnel. This is a full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position that reports to the warehouse supervisor or production manager.
Responsibilities
- Safely move stone throughout the warehouse using forklifts, overhead lifts, and other equipment as required (training provided)
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries of stone slabs and other related materials
- Prepare material for fabrication – this includes scanning/photographing new material and inspecting any potential defects
- Assist fabricators with polishing or other finishing work as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform general warehouse maintenance, including debris removal and equipment cleaning
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or fabrication experience is preferred
- Basic math and computer skills for measuring stone and assisting with inventory management
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on your own, or heavier utilizing team lifting or mechanical equipment

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
