Responsibilities includes working closely with many of the Program faculty and students who are engaged in research studying the Impacts of natural and anthropogenic factors on water resources including terrestrial, coastal and marine ecosystems.
The "Ecological Health" constitutes one of the major research focus areas of the Environmental Science PhD Program.
The overarching goal for the position it to provide a scientific basis for improved decision-making regarding the impact of stressors on the health and function of aquatic ecosystems.
