What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician, Maintenance position at Jackson Rancheria?
Responsible primarily for general cleanliness, maintenance and repairs of the General Store external areas including gas islands, vacuum/air water area and the Car and RV washes.
Responsible primarily for general cleanliness, maintenance and repairs of the General Store external areas including gas islands, vacuum/air water area and the Car and RV washes.
• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
• Maintain general cleanliness of grounds/equipment/machinery/shelving hoses/fixtures/cabinets of General Store external areas including gas islands, gas sumps, gas vendor fill area, Car/RV washes, vacuum/air/water stations, chemical room, dumpster area, front store windows/doors, garbage/recycling cans, outside employee break area, picnic area, paved areas, landscaped areas and sidewalks.
• Empty garbage or cardboard inside and outside of store.
• Clean chemical spills at gas islands or other paved areas.
• Assist requesting guests at the Car/RV washes including measuring RV lengths to determine compliance with RV Wash length requirements and directional assistance to RV’s entering and exiting the RV wash.
• Assist requesting handicapped guests in purchasing and pumping of fuel.
• Repair fuel pump hoses after breakaways.
• Perform routine maintenance and light repairs on the Car/RV wash equipment including identifying leaks and replacing high/low pressure hoses.
• Clean and service the Car/RV wash reclaim water system including priming the system.
• Clean, service and repair hoses, nozzles and filters at the vacuum/air/water stations.
• Fill and maintain chemicals and water softener salt pellets for the Car/RV wash.
• Fill and maintain supplies and windshield cleaning liquid at the gas islands.
• Fill and maintain supplies and chemicals at the vacuum/air/water stations.
• Record and submit inventory of equipment room supplies for gas islands and Car/RV wash.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude as well as a professional appearance at all times.
• Compliance with JR and General Store Policies and Procedures and SOP’s.
• May perform certain duties inside the General Store, to include restocking, merchandising and cleaning of product and product displays as well as cleaning store equipment, wares, fixtures, bathrooms, and floors.

Pay range: $21.00 - $27.30 per hour
*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
