Overview
The Kitchen Stewards primary responsibilities include the functions of deep cleaning all kitchens on JRCR property. Kitchen Stewards will complete all daily work assigned by following the direction of their supervisory team and understanding and following the departmental policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deep cleans all kitchens on JRCR properties
- The cleaning of filters, troughs, and drip machines on a daily basis.
- Responsible for filtering of deep fryer oils, cleaning and degreasing all floor mats, scrubbing kitchen floors, wiping down all hoods and related equipment, maintain a sanitary kitchen at all times.
- Operate steam cleaners for indoor and outdoor cleaning.
- Performs a wide range of related duties as needed or requested by supervisor.
- Demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability to necessary to work in high volume environment.
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge and skills are qualifying.
Pay range: $ $23.40 per hour
*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
