Role Summary: The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing active pool renovation projects and supporting daily field operations. This role coordinates crews across multiple job sites and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards and project specifications.

The Field Operations Manager provides on-site leadership, monitors project progress, and addresses issues in real time to keep work on schedule. This role requires hands-on construction knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

This role serves as a key point of coordination in the field, ensuring alignment between crews, project requirements, and operational expectations.

Classification: Full-time, Exempt

Schedule: This is a full-time, field-based position with a schedule that varies based on project demands and seasonal workload. Workdays typically begin early in the morning, and hours may extend later in the day during peak seasons to ensure project completion. This role is performed primarily on active job sites rather than in an office setting.

Scope Of Role

  • Manage multiple concurrent pool renovation projects, coordinating crews, schedules, and resources to ensure timely, high-quality project completion
  • Lead crews and provide clear direction on work execution, productivity, and quality standards
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust as needed to keep work on schedule
  • Lead field quality assurance by conducting inspections throughout each phase of construction to ensure work meets company quality standards and project specifications
  • Identify deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and hold team members accountable for consistent workmanship and quality through project completion
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure job sites are prepared with the materials, equipment, and labor needed for efficient execution
  • Train, coach, and provide real-time feedback to team members on proper techniques, safety practices, and company expectations
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to leadership
  • Ensure job sites are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
  • Ensure proper use and care of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Support final walkthroughs and ensure projects are completed to standard
  • Collect field measurements, photographs, site conditions, and project specifications to support accurate estimating, quoting, and scope development for renovation projects and add-on work
  • Monitor labor, materials, and crew performance to support efficient project delivery, cost control, profitability, and reduction of waste or rework

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in construction, renovation, or a related trade; relevant pool experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Solid understanding of job sequencing and construction quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a field-based environment
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both field crews and office staff
  • Proficient with workplace technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other mobile and office applications, with the ability to use technology effectively to communicate, manage projects, and complete daily job responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Work Conditions

Work is primarily performed on active construction job sites and requires frequent travel between locations to oversee project operations, inspect work, and support field activities.

The position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent movement throughout active job sites, and the ability to bend, kneel, reach, and occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or turn while handling materials, tools, or equipment as needed. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and varying terrain. The role requires the ability to safely navigate active construction environments, communicate effectively in person and by email, text, and phone, and occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, with the upper end of the range reflecting candidates with relevant pool industry experience and bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
