Mammography Technologist

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammography imaging procedures and assisting in the diagnosis of breast diseases. This role plays a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare facility.

Duties:
- Conduct mammography imaging procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
- Position patients correctly and operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Assist radiologists in the interpretation of mammography images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols to minimize risks to patients and staff.
- Perform quality control checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:
- Certification in Mammography Technology or Radiologic Technology.
- Proficiency in emergency medicine, medical terminology, PET scan, sonography, diagnostic evaluation, diagnostic radiology, CT scans, ER procedures, and anatomy knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Prior experience in mammography imaging is required.
