Description
The Radiologic Technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations utilizing x-ray equipment. Radiologic Tech with MRI, CT, Ultrasound, or Mammography certification is a plus will start out at a higher compensation. Ideal candidate has experience in CT. This is a full-time position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, accrued time off, short-term disability, and other supplemental plans.
Requirements
- Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- National Board for Radiology Technology Credentialed- ARRT.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of (2) years experience in multiple disciplines of Radiologic Technology preferred. MRI, CT, Ultrasound, or Mammography certification is a plus.
- Current license with the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners required if Radiology Technologist.
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- CT certification required.
