Full-Stack Shopify Developer (Onsite – Baltimore)
An established, fast-growing DTC electronics brand is looking to hire a Full-Stack Shopify Developer to join their in-house eCommerce team in Baltimore, MD. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact, working on a high-traffic Shopify environment that’s central to the company’s growth strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning day-to-day development across Shopify / Shopify Plus, including Liquid, custom themes, and front-end enhancements
- Building and maintaining custom integrations between Shopify and core systems such as NetSuite (ERP), CRM, and third-party tools
- Working across the full stack: storefront UX/UI, backend logic, APIs, and data flows
- Supporting site performance, scalability, and conversion optimization in partnership with eCommerce and marketing teams
- Leading implementation of new features, apps, and custom solutions to support growth across DTC and retail
- Collaborating closely with product, operations, and merchandising teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ensuring best practices around code quality, security, performance, and maintainability
What they’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Shopify / Shopify Plus developer in a DTC or retail environment
- Strong hands-on skills with Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify’s APIs
- Experience integrating Shopify with NetSuite (or other ERPs), plus tools such as payment gateways, shipping, inventory, and CRM platforms
- Comfort owning projects end-to-end in an in-house environment
- Experience supporting growth-stage or scaled DTC brands (complex catalogs, high traffic, operational nuance)
- Ability to work onsite in Baltimore as part of a collaborative team
