In partnership with Jory Behavioral Health,Jackson House MLK Clinic is seeking compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) to join our growing outpatient team serving clients in residential treatment facilities throughout the Salem area.
This position provides an opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships while helping individuals develop the skills needed to achieve greater independence, stability, and long-term recovery. Our clinicians work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, QMHAs, residential staff, and other members of the treatment team to provide person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care.

Position Summary
As a QMHP, you will provide both individual and group therapy services to adults receiving treatment in residential treatment facilities throughout the Salem area. Clinicians are responsible for completing behavioral health assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, facilitating evidence-based therapeutic groups, maintaining clinical documentation, collaborating with the treatment team, and supporting clients throughout their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based and person-centered interventions.
- Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and process groups.
- Complete behavioral health assessments and treatment planning.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, QMHAs, residential staff, and other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations.
- Monitor client progress and modify interventions based on clinical needs.
- Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, communication skills, independent living skills, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Maintain ethical, professional, and trauma-informed standards of care.
Qualifications
- Must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) in the State of Oregon.
- Fully licensed clinicians (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, etc.) are preferred; however, qualified associate clinicians (CSWA, Associate Professional Counselor, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or other QMHP-eligible associates) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
