What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Analyst position at Jackson Hospital?
Payroll Analyst:
- Able to use Time & Attendance and Payroll software accurately to ensure timely processing payroll.
- Review timesheets, generate time reports and system generated reports for the T & A system for errors and discrepancies.
- Prompt and accurate processing of employee's master file changes: name, rate, tax withholding, direct deposits, payroll deductions, etc.
- Ensures timely direct deposits, tax deposits, and payroll related reports
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of payroll related reports, sales and rental tax deposits, State and Federal reports, and any other requested reports.
- Perform AP duties when needed.
- Maintains logs and files as needed.
- Complete all assigned general ledger reconciliations timely and accurately.
- Interacts with other hospital personnel in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Assists department managers in solving problems that involve Payroll.
- Researches and responds to employees' questions concerning their paychecks.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, rules and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.46 - $28.81 per hour
