What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Security Analyst - FT - Days position at Jackson Hospital?
Works as a Information Security Analyst and is responsible for implementing activities of technology projects relating to enterprise level cybersecurity ensuring goals are accomplished for Jackson Hospital and Clinic. May be assigned a trainer role within the scope of authority.
Bachelor’s degree in an associated Information Technology discipline is required. Valid State driver’s license. Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA CySA, CASP , CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP). Must be able to obtain a certification, through self-study, within 6-months of employment. Other IT Certifications are highly desired. Four (4) years’ experience with Information Technology security related solutions. Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of college. Extensive knowledge in assessing and mitigating security vulnerabilities. Extensive knowledge of security across various platforms (i.e. operating systems, computer systems, mobile devices, cloud networks, and wireless networks). Attention to Detail and Fundamental Forensics Skills (i.e. protect organizations' digital assets and prevent security breaches). Desire to Learn - Keep current with best practices and emerging industry trends and will always need to be learning and self-educating. Extensive knowledge and understanding of hacking, exploitation and breaching. Excellent data, oral and written communication and people skills.
