What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouseman/Courier position at Jackson Hospital and Clinic?
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Six months in warehouse and/or stocking related work.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Current Alabama Driver's License.
Equipment/Tools/Work Aids: Hand trucks, carts, copy machine, inventory listing, telephone, forklift, power pallet jack.
Specialized Skills: Ability to form effective working relationships, with a variety of employees, management and customers. Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical Requirements: Routine bending, stooping, squatting, and overhead use of arms for retrieving and stocking shelves. Ability to; climb ladders 15 to 20 times per day to retrieve supplies; Pushes heavy carts weighing in excess of 200 pounds; Visual acuity and physical mobility necessary to operate a forklift and 2ton truck. Requires considerable walking and standing; must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Verbal communication and hearing ability to communicate with a multitude of customers. Ability to meet the attendance requirements of the job.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!
