What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night shift housekeeper position at Jackson Hospital and Clinic?
Requires the ability to read and write and be able to follow oral and written instructions. Prefer a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. None required but prefer a housekeeping background. Cleaning equipment such as utility cart, mop bucket with wringer, vacuum, caddy. Must have the ability to bend, stretch, stoop, lift, and reach repeatedly. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. repeatedly. Must be able to handle, operate and work with all required equipment, chemicals, supplies and any other necessary tools as required by the department supervisor. Must be able to demonstrate satisfactory ability in all sensory areas such as hearing, sight, verbal in order to communicate and meet all other job requirements effectively. Must not be allergic to latex. Must be inoculated as prescribed by Employee Health, prior to working in patient areas.
