What are the responsibilities and job description for the ED Administrative & Financial Coordinator M-F position at Jackson Hospital and Clinic?
FT Monday-Friday
Responsible for all typing, filing and other administrative requirements assigned by Director. Responsible for all administrative duties, screening visitors, verifying appointments for the Department heads, answering and screening incoming calls and reviewing medical records in a timely and comprehensive manner to determine accuracy of charges for services rendered in the ED. Validates data for electronic log, ED record for signatures and other data points as indicated for reporting of departmental requirements.
Qualifications:
3-5 year's Administrative experience, Billing and Coding experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Billing and Coding Certificate preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred.
