We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead deck builder, kitchen and bath remodeler to join our dynamic team. A lot of the work will be in the Western Hills area for the houses and apartments we own but we do service most of the 275 loop for customer focused renovations

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise remodeling projects focused on decks, kitchens, and bathrooms from start to finish for our own apartments, single family house full renovation and turnovers and customer projects with currently a deck building focus
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, fixture mounting, and finishing work
• Perform construction estimating tasks to accurately assess project scope and materials needed
• Execute various carpentry tasks including cabinet installation, deck building (with PT and composite)
• Manage heavy lifting and material handling safely on construction sites while adhering to safety standards
• Install doors, windows, flooring (including tile laying), countertops, fixtures, and other remodeling components with precision
• Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations while maintaining a clean job site
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to meet project timelines and quality expectations
• Compact excavator/equipment experience a plus
• Stormwater management, French drains, light grading/excavating knowledge a plus

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating, deck building (with various materials) framing carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and fixture installation
• Extensive hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools
• Strong background in remodeling projects including kitchens and bathrooms with knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, masonry or concrete forming preferred
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution
• Industry experience in restoration or water damage remediation is a plus
• Knowledge of roofing systems, siding installation, drywall finishing, flooring installation (tile or hardwood), plastering or stucco work is desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency on construction sites
• Demonstrated handyman skills across various trades such as plumbing or electrical work enhances versatility

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
