Job Title: Night Nanny & Postpartum Doula (March–June 2026)
Location: Jackson, WY
Position Type: Temporary (3 Months) Compensation: $30-$40 /hour
Schedule: Mostly nights, starting with 5–7 nights/week, tapering to 4–5 nights/week as baby gets older
Description:
The family is seeking a compassionate, experienced Night Nanny and Postpartum Doula to support a newborn and family starting in March 2026 for approximately three months in Jackson, Wyoming.
This role will primarily focus on overnight care, helping ensure the baby’s needs are met while allowing the mother to rest and recover. The ideal candidate is nurturing, knowledgeable, dependable, and professional—capable of providing both practical newborn care and emotional support to a new mom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight newborn care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and monitoring sleep
- Support breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, including preparation and cleaning of bottles/pump parts as needed
- Maintain a calm, quiet, and nurturing overnight environment
- Offer guidance and reassurance to the mother regarding newborn care and recovery
- Track feeding, sleeping, and diaper changes to support the baby’s routine
- Baby-related tasks (e.g., laundry, sanitizing pacifiers, tidying nursery)
Schedule:
- March 2026 Start Date
- 5–7 nights per week initially (8–10 hour shifts, negotiable)
- Will gradually taper to 4–5 nights/week as the baby develops a more consistent sleep schedule
Qualifications:
- Professional experience as a night nanny, postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, or similar role
- Doula certification preferred, but not required with equivalent experience
- CPR and Infant First Aid certified
- Strong knowledge of infant care, sleep routines, and postpartum recovery
- Calm, patient, and respectful of family dynamics and privacy
- Excellent communication and reliability
- Pet Friendly (dogs)
- Clear Background
- Excellent Reference
- Current vaccinations or willing to obtain. Fully vaccinated in accordance with current public health guidelines (e.g., Tdap, MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, etc.) and be willing to stay up to date with recommended ongoing vaccinations, including but not limited to annual influenza shots and COVID-19 boosters.
